Synopsis
Four years ago, Elowen was drugged and buried alive in a swamp by her brother Hugo and stepsister Tess, who stole her family fortune, black-market network, and witchcraft powers. Four years later, she returns to Hugo’s celebration wearing a driftwood mask and posing as a mysterious agent. Teaming up with the cold-hearted businessman Damon, she slowly takes back the Drowned Ledger, exposes their secrets, and awakens an ancient curse that brings Hugo and Tess down in public. In the end, Elowen reclaims her family’s power, returns to the swamp to restore the damaged wetlands, and becomes their protector once again—the “Swamp Queen.”
