Synopsis

Police officer Leo Carter infiltrates Crime Inc., a criminal outfit run like an ordinary small business, only to be dragged into a bank robbery on interview day. When he reveals his badge, founder Victor Black admits the company spotted him immediately—from his police email, uniform photo, and captain's recommendation—and still considers him hired. Because Captain Harris never properly filed the undercover authorization, contracts and automated systems keep promoting Leo from operations manager to compliance chief while every attempted arrest is reframed as training, customer service, or viral marketing. At a city award ceremony, Leo finally records Victor's live confession and leads a police raid. Yet the paper trail names Leo as the officer responsible for every operation, so he becomes the only one arrested. Crime Inc. bails him out, blocks his resignation because he is his own manager, and promotes him to vice president—just as rival CrimeCorp steals the evidence and teases an even bigger second-season war.
