When His Fallen Guardian Chose Freedom
Synopsis
For nine years, Nycta stood beside Arion, the god of war, enduring seventeen near-fatal wounds and surrendering parts of her spirit so he could survive. She believed devotion would eventually make him see her. Then he brought Celine into their lives, and Nycta became disposable. When Celine required a remedy, Arion condemned Nycta to the Underworld in her place. She returned shattered, was blamed for Celine's suffering, and watched Celine claim her glory and power. Arion even chose Celine as his bride. Before the ceremony, Nycta shielded Celine from a killing strike and disappeared without a trace. Yet death was not her ending. In the realm below, stripped of memory and free from Arion's control, Thanatos offers Nycta the peace she never knew. Arion is desperate to reclaim the woman he lost, but Nycta is no longer willing to be his sacrifice.
