Synopsis
Yue Lan’s elder brother was murdered by the imperial court in collusion with the Northern Di. She raised an army with his coffin, rescued her seven sisters‑in‑law who were in peril, and successively overthrew corrupt officials and princes. After uncovering the emperor’s conspiracy, Yue Lan started a rebellion, founded a new state, pacified various feudal lords and foreign enemies, and subdued the Wa, Chu, Northern Di, and other nations. After her success, she passed the throne to her young nephew Yue Yun. Yue Yun then campaigned far and wide to expand the territory, and eventually, after his grand wedding, he governed the realm, bringing all nations under submission.
