Wings Broken, I Come Back

Synopsis

"Ruan Yu was once a celebrated pianist—until her husband, elite lawyer Huo Chenguang, and his first love Ning Xinyan framed her, sending her to prison for three years. When she finally gets out, all she wants is to take back her son, Huo Ze. Instead, she learns the boy has leukemia. Desperate to save him, she endures unspeakable humiliation—even donating an organ—but it's too late. Huo Ze dies, a victim of deliberate delay. Broken beyond words, Ruan Yu jumps from a rooftop. But she doesn't die. She is saved by financial magnate Shi Yanzhou, and reborn under a new name: Xu Nanyi. Now she returns—with nothing left to lose. Step by step, she unravels the crimes: tax fraud, forged paternity tests, a conspiracy that cost her everything. She turns Huo Chenguang and Ning Xinyan against each other. The truth finally surfaces. And Huo Chenguang realizes the devastating price of his blindness—he destroyed his own wife and son. His regret burns. His pursuit begins. But some things can never be undone. In the courtroom, Ruan Yu finally reveals her face—and her true identity—condemning Ning Xinyan to life in prison. When a dying Huo Chenguang takes a bullet for her, she makes one last choice: to save him with her bone marrow. Not for love. For closure. In the end, Huo Chenguang walks away from his empire to teach in the rural northwest, seeking redemption in obscurity. And Ruan Yu, alongside Shi Yanzhou, builds the ""Zeguang Foundation""—turning her pain into purpose, and finding new life in saving others."
