Wishes Upon a Star

Synopsis

To cure his yang toxin, Li Xiu forces a marriage upon impoverished college student Lin Si. Amid exploitation and protection, genuine feelings slowly blossom. After learning the truth, Lin Si fakes her death and escapes, only to return seven years later with their daughter. Li Xiu, now living under an alias, seeks her out to atone. Misunderstandings and schemes tear them apart, until Li Xiu trades his life for hers, saving Lin Si and becoming the devoted lover who hangs thousands of wishes in the mountains.
