Synopsis
Five years ago, Eva sacrificed her heart to secure venture capital and save Leo, a rising star on Wall Street. Since then, she has survived on a mechanical pump, living as a blacklisted worker with a hidden child, her credit ruined. Leo rises to become the king of finance, but becomes engaged to Shirley, who falsely claims the credit for saving him. Shirley freezes Eva’s social security number, cuts off her daughter’s supply of life‑saving medicine, and sets a trap of contracts, guiding Leo to use his capital to crush Eva. Just as Shirley tries to drive Eva and her daughter out of town, the organ trust contract is exposed.
