You've Got the Wrong Countess!

Synopsis

When hardscrabble waitress Evelyn shares a passionate night with Cedric Winston, the reclusive young count of the prominent Winston family—who lives with a rare hereditary illness only her presence can soothe—she leaves behind her name badge in his suite. Her conniving roommate Mira steals the identity, moving into the grand estate as Cedric’s supposed lover and future countess. Struggling to settle her father’s gambling debts, Evelyn takes a maid’s position at the same estate. Cedric finds himself inexplicably drawn to her, casting doubt on Mira’s claim. As Mira schemes to eliminate Evelyn through sabotage, assault and drugging, the truth explodes at the engagement banquet. The impostor is expelled, and Cedric finally names Evelyn his rightful countess.
