Synopsis

Ten years ago, Xu Zhaosu, who was born with congenital heart disease, and Xu Qingyu lived together in an orphanage as the best of friends. Later, Xu Zhaosu met Cheng Xiao, a blind man from a nearby sanatorium, and the two of them, under the identities of "Mo Mo" and "Xiao Feng," found redemption in each other. Cheng Xiao gave Xu Zhaosu half of his family heirloom jade pendant, promising to stay by her side forever. A fire broke out in the orphanage, and Xu Zhaosu saved both Cheng Xiao and Xu Qingyu from the flames. However, Xu Qingyu's malicious thoughts caused the rescuers to miss the best moment to save Xu Zhaosu. In a desperate moment, Xu Zhaosu donated her corneas to Cheng Xiao. After Cheng Xiao's vision was restored, his family forcibly took him away, and the two were separated, their whereabouts unknown ever since.
