Synopsis

In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, Lilith, a self-aware zombie girl, survives by blending in with the mindless horde. When Captain Reid and his squad sweep through an abandoned plaza on a zombie purge, Lilith is drawn to his skill in combat. She narrowly avoids detection by playing dead, barely escaping being buried alive by Reid's teammate, Knox. That night, she stumbles upon Reid, injured and alone. She tries to help him with medicine, but grabs the wrong one. Under the drug's effects, the two slept together. When his squad arrives the next morning, Lilith flees in panic. While being chased by soldiers, she accidentally takes refuge in Reid's place. Reid discovers that she's a zombie and realizes she's the same woman from the night before. Instead of turning her in, he decides to protect her. Just as they're discussing what comes next, Knox shows up with food. He recognizes Lilith instantly and is stunned. She looks exactly like his first love. He confesses to her on the spot. Reid cuts in, defusing the moment, and decides to let Lilith stay hidden at their base until the zombie purge outside dies down. And so, Lilith's story in the post-apocalyptic world truly begins.
