After marrying the wrong prince, I secretly fell in love with the real king.

Synopsis

Princess Monsbella of the Kingdom of Viren is caught in a palace rebellion and trapped in a massacre. Prince Kaitis of the Kingdom of Kado risks his life to charge into the danger and save her, suffering grave wounds in the process. But Monsbella mistakenly believes that Abel—the son of the queen consort who arrives afterward—is the one who saved her at the cost of his life. Filled with gratitude, she marries the second prince, Abel. Married life in the palace is cold and hypocritical. Abel appears gentle and refined on the surface, but in truth he follows his mother's schemes, using Monsbella's family power to consolidate his own position—he has no genuine feelings for her. The true savior, Kaitis, struggles step by step under his stepmother's suppression. He never stops thinking of the girl he saved. In secret encounters in palace banquets, corridors, and hidden chambers, the two cannot suppress their mutual attraction and begin a forbidden affair that can never be known to the world. Torn between her nominal husband Abel and her growing feelings for Kaitis, Monsbella is caught in a tangled web of guilt, desire, and gratitude.
