Synopsis

Lola, a foreign female painter, arrives in the coastal town of Black Bay along the North Atlantic, searching for her missing mentor Evelyn's final coastal painting. She gradually uncovers that the "Seagull" shipwreck thirty years ago was no mere storm accident: under pressure from the harbor committee and insurance companies, Daniel Reed Sr., the previous rescue team captain, delayed and cut the alarm. Core personnel then tampered with the records, framing Jasper's father, the lighthouse keeper, for the negligence. Though Daniel Reed II, the current rescue worker, wasn't directly responsible back then, he discovered the evidence after his father's death and remained silent for years, carrying a heavy burden of guilt. Pushed forward by the intertwined efforts of Jasper, Marcus, Sebastian, Daniel, Irene (the daughter of a victim), and investigator Jack, Lola helps the silent town finally face the truth.In the end, she finds her mentor's final words hidden in a secret sea cave. Choosing not to pursue a romance with any of the male leads, she decides to stay by the coast, using her brush to record both the pain and the tenderness, ultimately finding her own redemption.
