Synopsis

Carmen Lopez, a talented pro beach volleyball athlete, has spent her whole life yielding everything to her twin sister Sylvia ahead of the world championship. Out of vicious envy, Sylvia spikes harmful medicine into Carmen’s sports drink the night before the crucial match, permanently wrecking her sister’s knees and crushing her sports dream. With Carmen sidelined for multiple painful knee surgeries, Sylvia pairs up with their rival and claims the championship glory alone. Given hidden surveillance footage proving the poisoning plot, Carmen refuses quick justice and devotes three grueling years to painful rehab. Working as a volleyball commentator, she secretly analyzes Sylvia’s every match flaw. When Sylvia’s partnership falls apart and begs Carmen to reunite as teammates, Carmen agrees to form a team as her carefully laid revenge trap. After steadily defeating opponents in tournaments, Carmen submits all criminal evidence to sports authorities, getting Sylvia banned from professional volleyball. Recovered from injuries, Carmen partners with young talented rookie Anna, fights all the way to earn an Olympic bronze medal and finally takes back everything stolen from her.
