Synopsis

Synopsis A youth with heterochromatic eyes bears the residual eye of the Candle Dragon within him. He roams the forbidden lands of the Great Barrens, unites the power of three races, and seeks a way to break free amid the rift between gods and demons — yet is the colossal tree that devours the life essence of all living things truly his greatest foe? Plot Summary Above the Great Barrens stands a withered tree that blots out the sun and sky. It ruthlessly siphons the spiritual marrow from the earth’s ley lines, bringing withered flora, lifeless fauna, and endless suffering to every living creature. A young boy has the residual eye of the Abyssal Candle Dragon implanted inside his body. His left eye blazes with sapphire flame, while his right glows with golden iris; mysterious runes are branded upon his forehead. All factions across the Barrens regard him as an oddity and a pawn to be exploited. Main Characters The Heterochromatic Youth (Male Protagonist) He hosts the leftover eye of the Abyssal Candle Dragon, one iris burning blue flame and the other shimmering gold, marked with arcane runes on his brow. Clad in tattered leather armor and wielding an ancient short sword, he wanders the barren wilderness alone to survive. Though he appears rough and unrestrained, he carries a fate coveted by every power in the realm. Red-Haired Fox Maiden A nine-tailed fox with scarlet hair and a flame seal between her brows, who can unfurl fiery orange spirit wings from her back. She carries a wine flask and sacred artifacts in hand, free-spirited on the surface, yet holds the vital map of Kunlun’s seal array. She strikes an alliance with the protagonist by trading her map for his protection, her true motives shrouded in mystery. White-Haired Elder His silver hair cascades over weathered, scarred features, clad in scale armor with twin battleaxes slung over his back. A battle-hardened veteran of countless wars, he speaks few words but upholds an ancient sacred oath. Silver-Armored Giant His stone-grey skin ripples with massive muscle, wielding an enormous greatsword wreathed in blazing fire. Taciturn yet lethally formidable, he fights like an active volcanic force on the battlefield. White-Robed Scholar His hair tied neatly, a folding fan in hand, his flowing robes billow as he weaves golden runic formations atop sea of clouds. Gentle and refined on the exterior, he holds a luminous scroll of critical importance, making him the most unpredictable piece on the grand chessboard of fate. Colossus Warlord (Antagonist) Slate-blue skin paired with blazing golden eyes, encased in rune-carved heavy plate armor and wielding twin warhammers. He hovers amid swirling thunder and lightning, looking down on all beneath him with wild, domineering laughter that betrays his overwhelming supremacy. His fate is intertwined not only with his own survival, but also the ultimate secret that decides the life or ruin of the entire Great Barrens.
