Synopsis

To raise enough money for his mother’s heart transplant, former Army Ranger Cole Mercer signs a death waiver and joins Lone Survivor, an underground livestreamed competition. One hundred contestants are dropped into the Amazon rainforest with only one rule: survive for one hundred days. Every time someone dies, another $100,000 is added to the prize pool. Kill someone yourself, and the amount doubles. Cole saves Marcus, a powerful fighter risking his life to pay for his daughter’s leukemia treatment, and later takes in Leo, a teenage boy from an orphanage. The three form an alliance, slowly building themselves up from a single combat knife to an arsenal of fifty-five armor-piercing arrows, carving out a place for themselves in the deadly jungle. But the longer Cole survives, the more something feels wrong. The death count flashing across their wristbands doesn’t match the number of people who have actually “disappeared” from the rainforest…
