Synopsis

Caleb Baker and Brian Baker are biological brothers. After their parents pass away when they are young, the family is left poor. As the older brother, Caleb is forced to go out to work to earn money, leaving the $200 left by their parents to his younger brother. Over ten years pass. Through hard work, Caleb becomes the richest man and owns his own company. He arranges for someone to find his brother. He discovers that Brian works in a mine in the next village. Caleb decides to conceal his identity and goes to see his brother. Unexpectedly, he finds out the mine actually belongs to his own company. However, the mine manager secretly takes bribes from the workers and withholds their wages. Seeing his brother suffering in the mine, and realizing it is his own company, Caleb becomes furious. He stands up for his brother. In the end, the mine manager faces legal punishment. After reuniting with his brother, Caleb learns that Brian is already married and has a daughter. However, Brian's wife, Julia Clark, is a gold digger. She divorces Brian because he has no money. When she later discovers that Brian's brother is the richest man, she tries to flatter Brian, pretends to be pitiful, and seeks reconciliation in order to get a share of the family fortune. Finally, through a scheme devised by Caleb and Brian, Julia's true nature is exposed, and she ends up with nothing. Caleb, Brian, and his daughter live happily together.
