Escape the Love's Bonds

Synopsis

Xia Chu was originally a legendary designer in the jewelry design industry - Anni. But after she fell in love with Fu Nancheng, the richest man in the imperial capital, she not only donated a kidney to him but also was willing to be a stepping stone for Fu Nancheng's first love - Xu Yiyi. Eventually, Xu Yiyi became a globally renowned designer with the design drafts drawn by Xia Chu on her behalf, while Xia Chu became obese due to taking medicine after the surgery and endured the ridicule of others. Xia Chu's compromise was only to win Fu Nancheng's glance. But in Fu Nancheng's eyes, his marriage to Xia Chu was just a transaction. Eventually, Xia Chu was completely disheartened and chose to divorce. Xia Chu was determined to find her once shining self. She worked hard to lose weight and served as a judge in the world's most authoritative jewelry competition under the name of Anni. At the competition site, Xia Chu faced Fu Nancheng and Xu Yiyi again. This time, she didn't hold back and exposed Xu Yiyi's true face in public, ruining Xu Yiyi's reputation. To restore Xu Yiyi's reputation for her, Fu Nancheng found Anni. After many contacts, Fu Nancheng finally discovered that this woman with a cold and noble appearance was actually his despised ex-wife Xia Chu! What surprised him even more was that it was Xia Chu who donated the kidney to him that year, not Xu Yiyi! Fu Nancheng, who suddenly realized his mistake, hoped to win Xia Chu back. However, Xia Chu had become an existence beyond his reach...
