Synopsis

Director Lin Xi, a documentary filmmaker, is brutally betrayed and killed during a polar expedition. She is reborn right before the journey begins. Foreseeing that the glacier guardian beast Sisut will raid the camp that very night, she tries to warn everyone—but no one believes her. Only Chen Mo, a search and rescue team member, stands by her side. Guided by indigenous locals, they set out to seek a way to survive. As the other team members perish one after another, falling victim to selfishness, suspicion and arrogance, Lin Xi and Chen Mo hold fast to their conscience and trust amid desperate odds. In the end, the two escape the brink of death with the power of ice worms. Beneath the morning glow, they make a promise of new beginnings. The nightmare of the glacier is over, and a story of love and hope is about to unfold.
