HE THOUGHT I WOULD DIE BUT NOW HE IS KNEELING AND BEGGING FOR MERCY

Synopsis

At Belmont Guitars, master luthier Maya secretly sustains its high-end line. When her husband Liam is diagnosed with acute leukemia needing $800,000, she gives her $670,000 house savings and plans to borrow $200,000. She discovers Liam diverted the money to Clara and bought a used Aston Martin. He coldly claims Maya is the sick one, cancels her marrow match, and mocks her. Meanwhile, CNC-obsessed owner Rick fires Maya for her slow handcrafting, betting $80 million on automation for a huge tour contract. Arthur, chairman of Pioneer Music Group, hires Maya as chief luthier. At inspection, Maya exposes flaws in Rick’s sample, winning Arthur the contract and leaving Rick facing foreclosure. The workshop manager sabotages Maya’s first batch and, with Liam, tries to expose her—until Secretary A reveals the manager’s sabotage. Liam learns he is the leukemia patient and has destroyed his only cure.
