Synopsis

"After the death of her father, heiress Claire finds herself in a compromising situation with Sean. Her cousin, Winnie, seizes this opportunity to falsely accuse Claire of tarnishing the family name by seducing a beggar. Winnie plans to eliminate Claire but, mindful of the inheritance tied to Claire's father's shares, decides to imprison her in the basement instead. Winnie then uses Claire's identity to get close to Sean. Claire endures nine months of torment and gives birth to twins, but a kind doctor only hands a baby girl over to Winnie.
