My Big Secret Wedding

Synopsis

Naty has planned her wedding since she was thirteen — the shore, the sunset, the groom sailing in to kiss her before the light dies. Her stepfather has other plans: the man who owns half of Puerto Alegre has bought her a «proper» wedding, banquet hall, fake sea mural and all, because daddy's guests matter more than daughters' dreams. So Naty and her soft-spoken groom pull off the impossible — a secret second wedding, same day, other side of town. Escape the party, beat the sunset, tell no one. But secrets don't survive a Mexican family. By nightfall two weddings collide into one glorious catastrophe: a groom held at gunpoint by his own brother, a bride setting her dress on fire, a father walking chest-first onto a bullet — and one police wagon where everyone who ruined everything finally, for the first time, becomes a family. She wanted the perfect wedding. She got the real one.
