My Enemy’s Husband Fell for Me

Synopsis

Megan Cooper was thirteen years old and living a happy life, until the Sinclair Group set its sights on her father’s company and took everything from her. Veya Julian, the only daughter of a mafia boss, led men to break into their home. She forced Megan’s father to sign a stock purchase agreement, then shot Megan’s parents dead to silence them and set the house on fire to destroy evidence. Megan narrowly escaped death and was rescued by Scarlett Winchester, who also lost her daughter because of Veya. After that, Megan changed her name, fled overseas, and spent ten years in rigorous training. She viewed love as a weakness, with only one goal: revenge. A decade later, Megan returns under the alias “Melony Winchester”, working as a dancer. To uncover evidence of Veya’s crimes, she sets her sights on Sullivan — Veya’s husband and heir to the Sinclair Group. Melony lures Sullivan through dancing, flirtation and psychological games. She exploits the cracks in his marriage while gaining Veya’s trust, slowly infiltrating deep into the enemy’s inner circle. She once thought Sullivan was merely a pawn to use. But she gradually realises he is no villain; he too is trapped by family interests and schemes. Sullivan knows she has ulterior motives for approaching him, yet he cannot resist her. The two grow closer amid suspicion and deception. For the first time, Melony is torn between her vengeance and love. The closer she gets to the truth, the more she fears she will have to destroy the man who truly loves her. In the end, Melony reveals her true identity and the evidence of the decade-old crime. She exposes the truth to the public, making the Julian family pay for their crimes.
