My Ex-Husband's Star Painter Stole My Art
Forced to publicly apologize while holding her miscarried pregnancy report, the suppressed artist handed her unfaithful husband signed divorce papers and original draft copyrights.
Synopsis
The talented oil painter Claire left behind the invitation from the Paris gallery and closed her personal art studio in order to pursue her love. She became the full-time wife of Adrian, the president of the Hawthorn Group. For three years, she was willing to suppress her talent and quietly manage her husband's life while assisting him in his career. On the night of her husband's birthday party, she was supposed to present her husband with the surprise of being six weeks pregnant, but she witnessed Adrian allowing the new painter Selina to get close to him. She also discovered that the famous painting worth 1.2 million US dollars that Selina had sold was stolen from the old drafts in her closed art studio. Claire publicly exposed the truth of the plagiarism. However, Adrian chose to believe the actress Selina who was good at playing the role of a pitiful person and forced Claire to apologize in public. Amidst the chaos and conflict, Selina deliberately bumped into Claire, causing the fetus in Claire's womb to miscarry. Heartbroken, Claire persuaded Adrian to sign the divorce agreement and left the city alone to head to the west. Later, Adrian saw the divorce agreement, the B-ultrasound report, and the miscarriage record, and suddenly realized. He immediately cut off all financial support for Selina, held a public press conference to clear Claire's name, and set off to the west to desperately chase after her and atone for his mistake. But the late remorse could not erase the past scars. Claire firmly refused to reconcile. While participating in the restoration project of the old theater, she met Lucas, who understood and appreciated her, and picked up her brushes again after three years of suspension. Unwilling to fall from the pedestal, Selina constantly distorted the truth in the media, slandered Claire for maliciously exploiting the situation and demanding that Claire draw in front of the audience to prove herself. Claire calmly accepted the challenge, using her painting skills to shatter the doubts of the outside world. At the same time, she presented complete timelines, draft originals, and other evidence to expose that Selina's many representative works were plagiarized from her early creations. Faced with no way out, Selina held a knife attack at Claire's exhibition site. Adrian stepped forward to shield Claire from the knife. In the end, Selina was punished by law for multiple charges including plagiarism, commercial fraud, and intentional injury. All the awards and fame she had stolen were revoked. Adrian returned all the copyright and earnings of Claire's works and transformed the art gallery that had once made her famous into a public welfare exhibition hall for supporting young artists. He calmly accepted the final outcome of completely losing Claire. Claire regained her signature and artistic career, and together with Lucas, she created a public welfare art center for young artists in poverty and orphans, achieving equal and sincere love and finding her lost self.
