Synopsis
On a sunny afternoon in California, six-year-old Lucy is critically injured in a car accident. Kind-hearted Emma rushes the girl to the hospital, only to be maliciously blocked on the road by her workplace rival, Sarah. Sarah, who is in the middle of sneaking around with her secret lover, mistakenly believes the dying child is Emma’s daughter. Out of pure, toxic spite, Sarah deliberately rams Emma’s car and intercept the life-saving blood plasma, ultimately causing little Lucy to take her last breath. But when the dashcam footage is finally exposed, the horrifying truth comes to light: the child Sarah ruthlessly killed was her own biological daughter. As her devastated husband files for divorce to exact his brutal revenge, Sarah is sent to prison, losing her sanity. Meanwhile, Emma and Mike find a way to heal their shattered hearts by volunteering at an orphanage.
