Synopsis
Mermaid Effie saved human Cabe, gave up her tail and her betrothal, and gifted him her scale for his protection. But Cabe conspired with Effie's best friend Yana, scheming for an inheritance by faking his death and stealing his twin brother's identity. When Effie uncovered the affair, she miscarried and was framed and imprisoned by the pair. Merman Prince Ryan came to her rescue and proposed a second time. Effie gave herself seven days to reclaim her scale. Forced to give blood for Yana, she severed her last attachment. In the end, she let go of the past, accepted Ryan's proposal in a wedding dress, and the villains met their fate.
