Synopsis

The Oathbreaker is a dark fantasy vertical short drama featuring an unconventional revenge story. Ed, a young paladin, is framed by his beloved mentor Derek. After activating a witch’s curse, he is labeled an “oathbreaker.” He gains dark power but pays a heavy price: each offensive use erases part of his memory, and nine uses will turn him into the witch’s soulless vessel. Ed refuses to kill the innocent. Guided by Cohen, a fellow victim and archmage, he learns to control the curse and uncovers the Holy City’s shocking secret: the city was built on the witch’s seal, and the paladins steal power and cover up the truth in the name of “light.” He gathers victims to form the “Oath Legion” and discovers Derek is also cursed. Instead of violent revenge, Erases all memories of Derek from the world as his punishment. He finally breaks his fate, forges a new faith of swearing only to his own choices, and redeems the witch Ela, who has been trapped for a thousand years.
