The One Who Got Away

Synopsis

"Years after a painful misunderstanding tore them apart, Gu Qingyan returns with a single mission: to finally divorce her husband, Lu Jingting. She went abroad and raised their child alone, and now all she wants is a clean break. But Lu Jingting has other plans. Still deeply in love with her, he refuses to end their marriage. Too afraid to confess his feelings directly, he orchestrates a series of ""accidental"" encounters and helps her from the shadows, hoping to win her back. When his subtle approach fails, their frustrated friends and family begin playing matchmaker to push the stubborn couple together. Still, Gu Qingyan’s heart seems closed, and she remains determined to leave him. Just when it seems all hope is lost, their young child, Xiao Bao, decides to intervene. With a clever look, Xiao Bao tells mom he knows exactly who his father is, saying, ""I may be little, but I'm not stupid."" Now that the family's biggest secret is out, everything is about to change."
