The Woman at the Edge of the Marsh
Synopsis
Louisiana, 1927. Nurse Evelyn Cross is framed for murder—and vanishes from a locked jail cell, leaving only her shoes behind. Bounty hunter Silas Boone is hired to bring her back alive. Evelyn carries a fragment of a secret transfer record linking missing hospital patients to Blackwater. Meanwhile, Silas's lost memories may connect him to the Bellamy sugar mill.
