One Face, Two Lives

Synopsis

A car crash leaves Liu Shuyi paralyzed. But in her husband's phone, she makes a chilling discovery — her cousin Su Wan, who "died" in a fire five years ago, is alive. And she's been living as Shuyi, wearing her face, using her identity, and sharing her husband's bed. As the truth unravels, Shuyi learns she was never her mother's biological daughter — she was a "decoy." Su Wan is the real daughter. The two women's lives were swapped at birth. ALS, microchip technology, and a tangled family secret push the two women to the brink of life and death. They hate each other. They resent each other. But when a conspiracy to steal their mother's life's work surfaces, they realize the only way to survive is to fight together. "I hated you for twenty-eight years. But when you were dying — I couldn't let you go." From rivals to sisters, from suspicion to trust — when the flames rise again, they finally understand: fate can steal your identity, but it can never steal the bond between you.
