Synopsis
Colonel Sean returns to his Texas farm after a five-year classified mission. Expecting peace, he finds his neighbor Martin and his son holding him at gunpoint and demanding $160,000 for "trespassing"—while axing his military vehicle. This was no first offense. Years ago, the Martins beat Sean's father and used their sheriff relative Rick to forge a land deal. They spread rumors that Sean was in prison, subjecting the old man to years of public humiliation. This time, they go further. They force Sean's father to kneel in the mud and lick a boot. The old man collapses from a heart attack. With the abusers blocking all help, Sean calls his commanding officer. Within minutes, a Pentagon tactical team arrives, secures the scene, and a medic rushes Sean's father to the hospital. Only then does the town learn Sean is no criminal—he's a serving special forces colonel. The Martins are convicted on multiple felony counts. Sheriff Rick is fired and federally investigated.
