They Mocked a Mafia King

Synopsis

Born into the wealthy Gilbert family but raised in an orphanage, Klaus Gilbert returns to his birth family at 18, only to be framed for shooting his manipulative adopted brother Leo—who deliberately wounds himself to seize the family inheritance. Wrongfully convicted, Klaus spends ten years in prison, where a veteran mafia godfather takes him under his wing and leaves him his entire criminal empire. Upon release, Klaus returns to the cold, biased Gilbert household, where his parents James and Margaret, and his sister Evelyn still dote on the deceitful Leo. As Leo plots to land a billion-dollar mafia trade deal, Klaus reveals his true identity as the new underworld godfather at a high-stakes gala, uncovers Leo’s decade-old frame-up, freezes the family’s assets, and settles every score, finally walking away from his toxic bloodline to claim his own destiny.
