When Mom Came Home

Synopsis

For ten years, Pearl endures persistent coldness and unfair treatment from her father, who blames her for her mother Nova's disappearance and replaces her place in the family with a cruel adopted daughter, Viv. On Pearl's sixteenth birthday, Viv steals her mother's heirloom badge during a live broadcast, and their father publicly denies Pearl is his true daughter. Driven to despair, Pearl jumps into a lake but is saved by the miraculous return of her long-lost mother. Nova fiercely defends Pearl, exposes Viv's manipulations, and divorces the father to build a new life. Escaping her toxic past, Pearl thrives under her mother's unwavering love and earns a spot at a top university. Ultimately, the remorseful father passes away, leaving his entire fortune to Pearl, while the manipulative Viv is left with absolutely nothing.
