Synopsis

At twenty, Luna was used by her biological father as a bargaining chip for his debts, thrown into a Gothic manor entwined with black thorns. Its master—Fenris, who wears a wolf-head mask—is the bloodthirsty monster of local village folklore. Yet Luna discovers he never harms her; instead, he merely brings hot soup in the dead of night and whispers outside her door, "I will frighten you." Is he a man or a beast? What exactly did he endure in that betrayal a century ago? Why can Luna's kiss shatter his mask and reveal a human face beneath? When the entire village raises torches and cries "Burn the witch," an even more ancient voice awakens from within the priest: "Wolfthorn, long time no see."
