Synopsis
Dylan, a nonverbal transgender youth tormented by gender dysphoria, secretly marries James, his stepbrother and longtime crush, in accordance with his grandfather’s dying wish. Fearing a scandal that could destroy his standing in elite Western society, James is forced to publicly pose as Yvonne’s boyfriend. Although he loves Dylan deeply, his complicated upbringing and fear of abandonment drive him to conceal his affection behind harsh words and controlling behavior. Meanwhile, Mrs. Lucas conspires to seize power by switching heirs and repeatedly joins forces with Yvonne to torment Dylan. Pushed beyond his limits, Dylan attempts suicide by jumping from a building and loses his memory. He is then taken in and gently cared for by Celine and Sean.
