Phoenix's Ashes

Synopsis

"Ethan Carter, a master pharmaceutical scientist, devoted three years to painstakingly developing an anti-cancer drug for the one he loved. However, on the very day he completed his research, he was betrayed by his wife, Yvonne Westwood. Yvonne chose to trust James Foster, who had only been at the company for a few months, over her own husband. After James stole Ethan's experimental samples, he framed Ethan with every possible accusation. Ultimately, heartbroken and disillusioned, Ethan divorced and severed ties with Yvonne. Meanwhile, Caroline Bennett, Ethan's childhood friend, returned from abroad. Upon hearing the news, she immediately sought out Ethan and appointed him as the CEO of Bennett Pharmaceuticals. They hit it off perfectly. After Ethan joined, Bennett Pharmaceuticals flourished. At a new drug launch conference, they successfully exposed the vile deeds of Yvonne and James. Consequently, Phoenix Grace Group faced bankruptcy due to drug-related credibility issues, utterly ruining both of their reputations. Leading Bennett Pharmaceuticals, Ethan propelled it to become the leading pharmaceutical enterprise in Chie. He broke through foreign technological blockades, eradicated domestic cancer, and lived happily ever after with Caroline."
