The Soldier He Left Behind

Synopsis

Decorated Army Captain Vivian returns home after thirty-seven months on a top-secret mission—only to discover that her husband has been cheating on her. Worse still, he brings his pregnant mistress to court, mocks Vivian for vanishing for three years with nothing to her name, and tries to force her into a divorce that leaves her penniless. Everyone is waiting to see her humiliated. Instead, Vivian reveals her classified military record in court—over a million dollars in combat pay, extraordinary acts of valor, and multiple medals. The entire courtroom is stunned! But the biggest blow to her cheating husband comes when he learns that the “penniless wife” he despised is actually the sole heir to a $340 million family fortune! To protect her family empire, Vivian is forced into a contract marriage with Dominic, a cold and powerful defense-industry tycoon. The moment her ex discovers her true worth, he comes crawling back and begs her to take him back, while her wealthy relatives join forces to steal her inheritance. As one conspiracy follows another, Vivian fights back without mercy. And the man who was only supposed to be her husband on paper steps in front of her time and time again. She did not return from the battlefield to forgive betrayal. She came back to make everyone who humiliated her pay!
