Synopsis

Chu He devotes himself to researching brainwave bridging technology, which can construct a virtual world by linking two people’s minds. His breakthrough attracts the covetous eyes of malicious criminals, and his wife Lu Man loses her life during a kidnapping. Years later, Lu Yi, his daughter who grew up starved of her father’s company, abducts Chu He. Using the brains of father and daughter, she builds a virtual realm, fabricates false memories and sets a death loop, forcing Chu He to relive agonizing deaths over and over again. As Chu He awakens time after time, he gradually recovers his true memories and breaks free from the illusion to return to reality. His consciousness stirs inside Lu Yi’s body, and he learns that his own daughter Lu Yi is the mastermind behind everything. Driven by fatherly love, Chu He ventures back into the collapsing virtual world, sacrificing himself to save Lu Yi.
